Artist Statement:
There’s a constant pull between control and chaos. As a neurodivergent mother, I feel it intensely as I strive to simply meet the demands and responsibilities of daily life. In an effort to abandon negative coping patterns, I now find my peace through the process of painting. My recent work reflects my personal challenge to channel my inner chaos as I seek out the serene. Primarily using gouache and watercolor, I enjoy exploring themes of pop-culture, beauty found in ordinary objects, and the intricacies of the human psyche.
